About Hope (she/her)

“We often find that the harder we try to get rid of emotions and thoughts, the stronger they become.” – Richard C. Schwartz

Have you ever noticed that the more you try to push emotions away, the louder and more overwhelming they seem to get? Emotions aren’t problems to be solved — they’re signals asking to be met with compassion rather than shame, to be understood rather than ignored. Therapy provides a safe and supportive space to bring forward the emotions you’d rather keep hidden.

Pain, when left unattended, can keep us stuck in unhelpful patterns — within ourselves and in our relationships. As a relational therapist, my goal is to create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and cared for. In that space, individuals, couples, and families can begin to experience themselves and each other in new and healing ways. My approach blends warmth with directness, offering both steady support and active collaboration in the process of change.

I work experientially, drawing from approaches such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy for individuals. With families, I lean on Virginia Satir’s Conjoint Family Therapy; with children, I use Child-Centered Play Therapy. To engage caregivers, I incorporate Filial Therapy and Theraplay. For couples, I integrate the Gottman Method with Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.

Whether you’re supporting a child with ADHD, navigating a major life transition, working to clarify your identity, or simply seeking a safe place to process your story, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
