About Shaelyn (she/her)
I believe connection is the cornerstone of therapy, and I'm here to guide you in creating meaningful connections that can transform your life.
I help individuals and couples understand their emotions, communicate more effectively, and build healthier, more connected relationships. In our work together, you’ll identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen your sense of self-worth, and navigate life transitions, relational stress and conflict, and emotional challenges with greater clarity and confidence. My approach is warm, empathetic, and direct. I provide a supportive space where you can grow, heal, and create meaningful change.
I affirm and welcome all relationship structures and identities, including monogamous, non-monogamous, LGBTQIA+, and gender-expansive relationships. My goal is to create a space where every relationship dynamic is respected, explored, and supported.
I have a particular passion for working with Intercultural Couples, guiding partners from diverse cultural backgrounds through the unique challenges and opportunities that arise in their relationships.
I am a humanistic therapist grounded in attachment theory and integrate modalities including Satir’s Human Growth Model, Internal Family Systems, Gottman Couples Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
